For years I have done landscapes, and while I was doing those landscapes I was also a collecting natural objects which I would carefully set aside in my studio ~ rocks, shells, pressed leaves, sticks,and pine needles. In 2005 with these “fragments of the landscape” I took a new direction. I have made numerous collages, drawings, and paintings. By consciously allowing the "process" to reveal the "intent" I have found a new visual language and image making process.
